The history of the company
The business's history stretches back over 50 years, to the single-partner auditing practice set up by the firm's founder and namesake Dr Elke Dornbach Sr in Koblenz in 1954. The addition of further partners led to the firm's creation in 1970.
The outsourcing of the areas of legal and management consultancy, as well as geographical expansion into the new federal states, into the business centres of the Rhine-Main area (Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, Mainz, Darmstadt...) and to Munich, has created the present Dornbach structure, with its 40 partners and over 300 employees at 17 locations.
According to the 2009 Lünendonk® Study, we can count ourselves among the 20 leading accountancy firms and the top ten owner-managed professional enterprises in Germany.
