Klaus Schmidt (degree in business administration)

Public Auditor, Tax Consultant, Managing Partner

After studying business administration at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management, Vallendar, with placements abroad in both France and England, Klaus began working in the area of public auditing and corporate finance for an internationally active consulting firm in Frankfurt.

Klaus joined the DORNBACH Group in 1997, after qualifying as a tax consultant and public auditor. He was made a partner in 2001.

His main consulting areas consist of serving public sector institutions, owner-operated municipal enterprises (management and tax consulting) and non-profit organisations. In addition, Klaus has written a commentary on the "Eigenbetriebs- und Anstaltsverordnung Rheinland-Pfalz" (regulations governing owner-managed enterprises and institutions in Rhineland-Palatinate).

Specialisation

• Advising all forms of municipal authorities and institutions (e.g. double-entry bookkeeping, costing, accounting, road maintenance authorities, tax and municipal regulations, local rates, analyses pursuant to Section 92 GemO Rh-Pf - Rhineland-Palatinate municipal code, articles of association, designation agreements, changes to legal form, public sector institutions)
• Management and tax consulting for non-profit institutions, associations, societies and foundations (especially hospitals, care homes, workshops for the disabled)
