After studying business administration at the Justus-Liebig University in Giessen, Mr. Ahrens first worked for Ernst & Young and subsequently for medium-sized tax consulting firms. Since 2019, Mr. Ahrens has been an honorary member of the Berlin Chamber of Tax Advisors. In February 2021, Mr. Ahrens joined the services of the former DORNBACH MAHLE STEURBERATUNGSGESELLSCHAFT MBH in Berlin.

Mr. Ahrens passed his tax advisor examination in February 2014. Mr. Ahrens has been Managing Director and Partner of DORNBACH GmbH since April 2021.
