Alexander Hartleib began his legal career in 2006 at the interdisciplinary Alpers & Stenger partnership (later: ALPERS & WESSEL). Since 2015 he has been the managing partner of DORNBACH GMBH law firm in Hamburg.

Alexander Hartleib specialises in corporate law. Legal advice concerning start-ups and restructuring is just as much a part of his area of responsibility as supporting corporate transactions (mergers & acquisitions). He has many years of experience in providing legal advice to start-ups at all stages of their development (from establishment to rounds of financing to exit). He also regularly advises investors and private individuals on their investments in start-up companies.
