Certified Public Accountant, Tax Advisor, Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Managing Partner

Mr. Brinskelle has more than 35 years of experience in auditing and tax advisory services. His career includes positions at KPMG in Frankfurt am Main and Stuttgart (1990–2002) and PKF in Frankfurt am Main (2002–2014). He was appointed as a certified tax advisor in 1995 and as a certified public auditor in 1999. Since 2020, he has been serving as Managing Partner at DORNBACH GmbH in Bad Homburg and Frankfurt am Main. In addition, since 2024, he has been a member of the Administrative Board of the Institute of Public Auditors in Germany (IDW).

Throughout his extensive professional career, Mr. Brinskelle has primarily been engaged in the audit of annual and consolidated financial statements of medium-sized and large companies and groups of all legal forms, reporting under HGB, IFRS, and US GAAP. His work includes internationally active groups and listed entities (Public Interest Entities – PIEs). Over several years, he has advised and audited numerous PIEs, including a major German MDAX-listed company.

In addition to traditional audit services, a key focus of his work is business valuation and transaction advisory. Within transaction advisory, Mr. Brinskelle specializes in due diligence engagements. He is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and has been responsible for DORNBACH’s offices in Hesse for many years. He is also a member of an expert panel within the DORNBACH Group.

Furthermore, Mr. Brinskelle is registered with BaFin as an external valuer for several fund management companies (KVGs). Alongside traditional company valuations (including valuations in accordance with IDW S1), his expertise particularly extends to acquisition and regular valuations of real estate companies within open- and closed-ended domestic AIF retail and special funds. He has developed extensive experience in this area through long-standing collaboration with numerous major fund management companies.
