Mr Roman Brinskelle, graduate in Financial Consulting (Hessian University of Finance) as well as a tax consultant and auditor, started his professional career as an assistant auditor at KPMG in 1990. With posts in Frankfurt am Main (until 1999) and Stuttgart (until 2002), his most recent position was as a Senior Manager. In 1995, Mr Brinskelle was appointed a tax consultant, and in 1999 an auditor. From 2002 to 2014, Mr Brinskelle was a managing partner at PKF in Frankfurt am Main, and from 2015 to 2019, a partner in a smaller office in Bad Homburg. Since 1 January 2020, Mr Brinskelle has been a managing partner at Dornbach GmbH in Bad Homburg and Frankfurt am Main

In his many years of professional experience, Mr Brinskelle has mainly been entrusted with annual and group audits of medium-sized and large companies/groups of all legal structures which render accounts according to HGB, IFRS and US-GAAP. This has included internationally active groups and listed companies (Public Interest Entities – PIE). Mr Brinskelle’s work has included guidance over several years of a variety of PIE companies, including a large German MDAX company.

Alongside classic auditing, his particular expertise lies in company valuation and transaction consultancy. As a CVA, Mr Brinskelle is a certified valuation analyst and additionally accredited by BaFin as an external analyst for several capital management companies. In addition to standard company valuations (including according to IDW S1), he has a special interest in the valuation of real estate companies for property funds (open and closed domestic AIF mutual and special funds) as well as in investment and regulatory consulting for capital management companies. Mr Brinskelle established and developed this expertise during his time at PKF, where, among other things, he founded and led the ‘Real Estate’ service line as well as a national and international body of experts.
