After studying business administration at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen with a focus on auditing, business taxation and business informatics, Mr. Helmut Brendt initially gained experience in the field of auditing and tax consulting at a medium-sized auditing company in Cologne from 1996 onwards and passed the tax consultant examination in 2000.

In 2001, Mr. Brendt moved to MICHELS SIMON ROTTLÄNDER GROß GMBH (MSRG) in Cologne. He became a partner there in 2003 and, after passing his exam as a certified public accountant, took over as head of the audit department in 2006.

On January 1, 2012, with the start of the cooperation between MSRG and DORNBACH, he became a partner of DORNBACH GMBH in Koblenz.

In addition to auditing the annual and consolidated financial statements of mainly medium-sized clients prepared in accordance with German and international accounting standards, his other main areas of activity are IT system audits, company valuations and business management consulting. A special focus of the broadly diversified clientele are companies in the beverage industry, for which Mr. Brendt is active in many issues nationwide.

In addition, Mr. Brendt is actively involved as an auditor for quality control in accordance with § 57a WPO.
