Maximilian Gloning
Lawyer
Mr. Gloning advises and represents our clients as an employed lawyer, primarily in civil and labor law. He also represents clients in fine proceedings.
Mr. Gloning studied law at Justus Liebig University in Giessen. He passed his first state law examination in 2020. During his studies, Mr. Gloning focused his training on civil law. He specialized in “labor law with social law.” He was particularly interested in economic contexts and the compatibility of economic management with the protection of employee rights. As part of his academic training, Mr. Gloning wrote scientific papers on the topics of so-called “commuting accidents” of employees (Section 8 (2) SGB VII) and on the protection of trade secrets by the Trade Secrets Protection Act (GeschGehG), which came into force in 2019, based on the European Union Directive on the protection of confidential know-how and confidential business information against unlawful acquisition, use, and disclosure.
This was followed by legal training in the district of the Frankfurt Higher Regional Court. In addition to positions at the Limburg Public Prosecutor's Office and the 4th Chamber of the Limburg Regional Court, Mr. Gloning expanded his knowledge of general civil law and labor law through positions at a Limburg law firm specializing in civil law and with a lawyer specializing in labor and social law. Mr. Gloning passed his second state law examination with distinction in May 2023.
Following his legal training, Mr. Gloning joined the ordinary courts as a judge. During his time as a judge in the Koblenz district court, he was in charge of a criminal division.
Due to his keen interest in the economic challenges of our time and his enjoyment of working with entrepreneurs, Mr. Gloning sought admission to the bar in 2024 and has been working in legal consulting ever since.
