Managing Partner

Wolfgang R. Rothe has been active for more than 20 years in various consultancies in the field of compensation & benefits as well as company pensions. Since 01.04.2013, he has been managing partner at DR. DORNBACH ROTHE GMBH (Compensation & Benefits).

Mr.Rothe initially worked for more than 10 years, 7 of them as an assistant to the management, in a consultancy for German company pensions (bAV). He created actuarial reports and advised customers on restructuring and conversion. In addition, he was responsible for drawing up salary studies and supported the management in internal mathematical valuations and analyses.

After this, he worked for more than 11 years for an international consultancy where he was initially responsible for operational business with reference to salary studies as well as the support and implementation of salary and benchmark studies/special valuation in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Furthermore, his specialisation area lies in the support of companies in the field of position valuation, drawing up special valuations such as salary benchmarks/market and salary comparisons, building up salary structures and bands, drawing up position descriptions as well as creating competence models. He supported well-known national and international companies in the successful development and introduction of strategy-oriented total remuneration concepts as well as the implementation of a position valuation system. He focuses on family companies as well as companies from the automobile and automobile sector, plus the consumer goods industry.
