Dipl.-Kaufmann Jochen Ball

After completing his studies in Business Administration at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, with a focus on auditing, banking, and civil law, Mr. Ball joined what is now DORNBACH GmbH in Bad Homburg v. d. H. in 1990 as an audit assistant. He was appointed Managing Partner in 1996.
Mr. Ball holds an IFRS accreditation (Certificate in International Accounting) and possesses extensive practical experience in this field. For more than ten years, he served as a lecturer for the Frankfurt Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), where he was involved in the training of certified accountants. He is also co-author of numerous professional publications. In addition, he was a member of the administrative board of the Institute of Public Auditors in Germany (IDW), Hesse regional group, for several years.
His core areas of expertise include auditing as well as tax and business advisory services for medium-sized enterprises. Increasingly, his work focuses on advising clients on digital transformation and the implementation of artificial intelligence. His client portfolio includes, among others, IT companies, financial service providers, wholesale businesses (in the mechanical engineering, metal, and food sectors), members of the liberal professions (such as physicians and pharmacists), and family-owned enterprises.
