Prof. Christoph Hell

Christoph Hell holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Saarland in Saarbrücken majoring in business taxation (Prof. Dr. Kußmaul), auditing (Prof. Dr. Küting) and tax law (Prof. Dr. Wendt).
After completing his studies, he worked for ERNST & YOUNG at the Saarbrücken location in the auditing and consulting area. This was followed by a switch to a medium-sized law firm in Munich which was also internationally oriented. After passing the tax consultancy examination, Prof. Hell returned to ERNST & YOUNG in the Mannheim and Saarbrücken locations, where he carried out classic year-end auditing work, particularly in the area of transaction consulting, and passed his auditor examination in 2003.
From 2005 to 2007 he was head of the audit, investment development and group development department in a municipal corporation. Prof. Hell has been the authorized signatory of DORNBACH GMBH, since 1st October 2007, and has been the managing partner since 1st January 2009.
Prof. Hell commented on the accounting and auditing of Küting / Pfizer / Weber (Hrsg) in Sections 322, 324 and 324a of the Commercial Code (HGB) in the "Handbuch der Rechnungslegung - Einzelabschluss" (Accounting Manual - Annual Accounts) as a co-author.
In addition to classic auditing, his main areas of expertise include transaction consulting, particularly the areas of due diligence and company valuation as well as the valuation of immaterial assets. In particular, he serves clients in the energy supply and health care fields, as well as medium-sized commercial enterprises.
Since 2015 he is Regional President of the Chamber of Public Auditors in Saarland, his current term of office runs until the end of 2022.
On 13th March 2017, he was appointed honorary professor of htw saar.
